An abstract print from a variable limited edition, Cairn II celebrates one of our familiar touch points with the mountains; a waypoint, a marker, a place of ceremony and memory. The considered Mark-making and positioning of each stone tells the story of the textures and experiences we have in the uplands, the light and shadow, the journeys we make and the lines we leave on the land.
Each print is slightly different.
Original mixed media linocut, 42 x 30cm on 300gsm cotton rag paper. These prints are supplied 'naked' (unframed with no mount) as they are particularly suitable for float-mounting.
